The Butler Dog Training Association is a non-profit
organization (501C) that has been serving the Butler community for over
thirty-five years. Our goals are education, training and community service.
We offer, Basic Manners and Obedience Level I and II classes to the public.
These classes are taught by qualified instructors / assistants and are based on
positive methods. We not only teach basic obedience commands, but we help the
owner build a strong working relationship with his dog through respect and
understanding. Dog owners are also given mini-overviews on such topics as:
nutrition, grooming, first aid, etc. Problem behavior is also a hot topic and
covered weekly in classes. We also offer Agility Foundation and Handling classes
to the public with qualified instructors guiding handler and dog teams through
the basics to the advanced challenges on the course.
